Job Title: Substitute Teacher

Requirements

Education: 60 passing credit hours from an accredited college or university.

Citizenship:Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not now, nor in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa status (E.I H-1B Visa Status). PRG participates in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

Register with the principal or office contact personnel upon arrival.
Review with appropriate school personnel regarding schedules & procedures that are to be followed for the teaching assignment.
Support and retain the established policies and procedures for the school and classroom.
Instruct the class as described in the Substitute Teacher Guide prepared by the absent teacher.
Before introducing anything other than what is outlined in the Substitute Teacher Guide, approval must be granted by the appropriate school administrator.
Accountable for controlling student behavior in the classroom, during lunch and any recess breaks if applicable.
Notify appropriate school personnel with disciplinary or behavioral issues immediately.
A written report will be provided to the appropriate office personnel regarding the days' activities at the conclusion of the day.
All policies and procedures will be adhered to that are applicable to substitute teachers.
