Permit Deducations

All substitute teachers must be permitted yearly by the Michigan Department of Education. The first school that you take a position at will be the initial permit authorizer. When the school and/or district submit your permit application., you will be contacted by the MDE via email in which the application has 30 days to submit payment. If the payment is not received within the 30 day grace period, your permit will be rescinded and all Michigan schools will receive notification of this status.
Should PRG permit you directly?(Required)
If yes, a payroll deduction would be made and submitted to the MDE in the amount of $45.

Garnishments

All court ordered garnishments will result in a $6 fee, per occurrence. This garnishment fee will be deducted from your payroll check or direct deposit payroll.

Tardiness

Deductions to salary may be adjusted due to tardiness (being punctual is important).
